The Omega Seamaster Professional 300M became a legend when Pierce Brosnan first wore it as James Bond in GoldenEye (1995). Instantly recognizable for its wave-pattern dial, skeleton hands and helium escape valve, it set the template for modern luxury dive watches.

This 1999 example of the automatic chronometer version (Ref. 2531.80.00) represents the most desirable configuration of the Bond Seamaster. Unlike the more common quartz model (Ref. 2541.80), the automatic houses Omega’s robust chronometer-rated movement – offering superior mechanical craftsmanship, smoother sweeping seconds, and long-term collectability.

  • 41mm stainless steel case – freshly and professionally polished to factory finish
  • Automatic chronometer-certified movement (better than the quartz version in terms of movement, collectability and feel)
  • Rare faded blue “ghost” bezel giving unique vintage character
  • New Old Stock (NOS) clasp recently fitted for crisp, unworn feel
  • Original non-flaked Omega box included
  • Supplied with 2 extra links for sizing flexibility
  • At the heart of this Seamaster 300M beats Omega’s Caliber 1120, a 23-jewel automatic chronometer movement renowned for its precision and reliability. Based on the celebrated ETA 2892-A2 architecture but extensively upgraded by Omega, the Caliber 1120 delivers smooth, consistent performance with a refined finish and chronometer-certified accuracy. It’s housed beneath an antimagnetic soft-iron cover, shielding the movement from magnetic fields often encountered in everyday life, ensuring long-term durability and dependable timekeeping.
